Second Sky acquires an epic fantasy trilogy from Jacob Peppers

Second Sky is delighted to announce the acquisition of an epic fantasy trilogy by bestselling author Jacob Peppers.

Consultant Associate Publisher Jack Renninson acquired world all-language rights, including film and TV, via Lydia Caudill and Andrea Hurst at Andrea Hurst & Associates Literary Management.

Set in a conquered kingdom that was once ruled and protected by dragon riders, the series follows a young street thief as he is recruited by a shadowy resistance movement that aims to bring back the dragons.

Peppers is the author of more than 40 titles, including the bestselling epic fantasy series The Seven Virtues and The Last Eternal.

Book One of the new series will publish in August 2026, with the remaining titles following in 2027.
